Finding your coach

Looking for swim coaching near The Villages? Start with these questions

Henrique Rodrigues, METHOD SWIM founder

The most useful first conversation is about the swimming you want to do. Whether your goal is a calmer breath, a more comfortable stroke or a return to regular practice, these questions can help you understand a program before enrolling.

Who is the program designed for?

Ask what participants should be able to do independently before the first session. Share your current experience. METHOD 50+, for example, is an eight-week technique program for adults aged 50 and over who can already swim independently. It is not an introductory learn-to-swim course.

How will I get personal feedback?

Ask how many swimmers will be in the group, who will coach it and how your starting point will be assessed. In METHOD 50+, Henrique Rodrigues coaches groups of up to six swimmers, with an initial and final technique assessment. Individual feedback is part of the planned sessions.

What is included in the price?

Confirm the number and length of sessions, the overall schedule and any pool-access requirements before paying. The METHOD 50+ founding offer is $799 for eight weeks: 16 sessions, twice a week, at approximately 50 minutes each.

Where and when will we swim?

Ask for the actual pool location and session times, rather than assuming a nearby program uses a pool you already know. METHOD SWIM is gathering interest in the Wildwood and The Villages area. The first pool venue and schedule are still being arranged; they will be confirmed before enrollment.

Submitting an inquiry simply starts a conversation with Henrique. It does not take payment or reserve a session. Tell us what you want to improve and we will discuss fit, availability and the next step.
